We run them - billed per second, scale-to-zero when idle. A small margin over raw cloud, so there's no capacity for you to manage.

What counts as a developer?

Anyone in your org who spins up or drives a pod. Read-only viewers of an audit trail are free.

Do I pay poddle for compute?

Only for managed pods - metered at a small margin over raw cloud, billed per second with scale-to-zero when idle. Bring your own cloud or self-hosted compute and you pay that provider directly; poddle just brokers the credentials.

Can I self-host the broker?

Yes. poddle is open source - run the broker on your own infrastructure and the raw secret stays in a vault you control. Most teams pick the managed cloud so there is no control plane to operate; the guarantees are identical either way.

Is there a trial for Team?

Yes - 14 days, no card. Your pods and identities carry straight over if you keep going.
